2. Scope
These terms govern distance sales contracts made through this website between us and you, the customer. If you are buying as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights under Lithuanian and EU consumer law always apply and are not limited by these terms.
3. How an order is made
When you place an order you make an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We may decline an order (for example if an item is out of stock or the price was clearly wrong), in which case we will not charge you, or we will refund any amount already paid.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include VAT. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown before you confirm your order. Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout. Your order is processed once payment is confirmed.
5. Delivery
We deliver within Lithuania and across the European Union. Delivery timescales are shown at checkout and on the product pages. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you (or someone you nominate) take physical possession of the goods.
6. 30-night comfort trial
Sleep on your new mattress for up to 30 nights. If the feel is not right for you, contact us within 30 nights of delivery and we will swap the comfort layer free of charge — you keep the mattress, there is nothing to ship back.
7. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
Standard-size mattresses carry the EU 14-day right of withdrawal: you may cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. You may unpack and test the mattress the way you would in a shop — testing it does not remove your right to return it. Contact us and we will arrange the return; we refund within 14 days of receiving the mattress back.
To withdraw, tell us clearly — you can use our model withdrawal form, or send any clear statement to info@mattresscenter.com.
Custom-size mattresses: custom-made mattresses are produced to your exact dimensions, so the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to them (Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive). Instead, they are covered by our 30-night comfort trial, and manufacturing defects are always covered by the product warranty — custom sizes included.
8. Warranty and faulty goods
All our products come with the statutory legal guarantee of conformity: if goods are faulty, not as described, or do not last as they reasonably should, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under Lithuanian and EU law (minimum two years from delivery). This is in addition to any commercial warranty we offer. Contact us at info@mattresscenter.com and we will put it right.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something is wrong, contact us first at info@mattresscenter.com — we aim to resolve every complaint quickly and fairly. If we cannot resolve it together, as a consumer in Lithuania you may refer the matter to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, www.vvtat.lt), which handles out-of-court consumer disputes free of charge.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Nothing in them removes the mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence in the EU.
