What mattress firmness is best for back pain?

Firmness is a personal comfort choice, not a medical prescription. As a common starting point, many people find a medium-to-firm feel (a firmness level of 3-4) a comfortable place to begin: back sleepers often prefer medium-firm, and side sleepers often prefer a softer feel to ease shoulder and hip pressure. The best firmness depends on your body, weight, and sleep position - our firmness finder helps you choose one shared feel, and our 30-night comfort trial lets you swap the comfort layer if it is not quite right. Want a different feel on each side for you and your partner? We do not make that here - our sister site personalized.eu (personalizuotas.lt) offers genuinely personalised split-firmness, fitted by their sleep ambassador.

Can I get a mattress in a custom non-standard size?

Yes — we make mattresses in any width and length, including unusual dimensions for caravans, boats, attics, and oddly-shaped rooms. Enter your exact cm dimensions and see the price instantly on our website. Custom sizes are delivered in 1-3 weeks — the same as standard sizes, built on the same production line.

What is the trial period for MattressCenter mattresses?

Sleep on your mattress for up to 30 nights. If it is not right for you, contact us and we will swap the comfort layer free of charge - no need to return the mattress.

Where are MattressCenter mattresses made?

Our mattresses are made in Lithuania: Matrest mattresses are handmade in Vilnius (since 2009) and Auraplus mattresses are made in Šiauliai. Materials include natural latex, wool, and coconut fibre.

What is the delivery time and cost?

All sizes are delivered in 1-3 weeks, regardless of size — custom dimensions are built on the same production line as standard sizes. Free delivery in Lithuania except Smiltynė (€15) and Neringa (€50); Latvia (€40), Estonia (€70) and Poland (€50), calculated at checkout. We do not currently deliver to Germany or other EU countries.

What materials are used in MattressCenter mattresses?

Options include natural latex (100% or blended), memory foam, HR foam, coconut fibre layers, natural wool, and innerspring systems.
