The Luxus is the base model of Matrest's Luxus collection, built on a multi-pocket spring core - individually wrapped springs arranged in zones for targeted support, rather than a single block of foam. On top sits a 1cm coconut-fibre layer for breathable structure and a 2cm latex layer for the first give under pressure points.
Rated medium-firm (4/5), the Luxus is aimed at back and stomach sleepers, and at heavier builds who need the spring zones to hold their shape through the night; a lighter-build side sleeper wanting more cushioning is likely better served by a softer model elsewhere in MattressCenter's range.
Inside its own family, the Luxus is the most affordable route into multi-pocket-spring support - step up to Luxus Premium for a 3cm latex layer or Luxus Supreme for 4cm, both on this same spring base, for progressively deeper cushioning. The cover is a linen-and-Tencel knit, identical on both faces, so there is no "wrong side" to sleep on.
